Do you have a desire to read more of the Bible, but it seems like a daunting task because of it’s size?

For those who are interested we at Aurora UMC are kicking off small group ministries this fall 2011 by reading through the Bible this year using The Story.

The Story is a condensed version of the Bible that is written in story format in order to help us better understand the main story and themes that runs throughout the Bible from beginning to end.

We will begin our study in Genesis and learn the great truth that God desires us and is on a relentless pursuit to find us an bring us back home.  We will learn how the people of Israel, Jesus Christ, and the church fits into God’s great plan of salvation.  We will end our study looking into the promise of a restore heaven and earth as it is laid out in Revelation.
